				يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ
	5494 2751 92 40 74:1			O you keeper of the secret.
				قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ
	5495 2752 93 41 1457 74:2			Rise up and warn.
				وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ
	5496 2753 94 42 1458 74:3			And extol your Lord.
				وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ
	5497 2754 95 43 74:4			And cleanse your garment.
				وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ
	5498 2755 96 44 1459 74:5			And forsake idolatry.
				وَلا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ
	5499 2756 97 45 74:6			And do not desire wealth.
				وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ
	5500 2757 98 46 1460 74:7			And stand by your Lord patiently.
				فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ
	5501 2758 99 47 74:8			Then, when the trumpet sounds,-
				فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ
	5502 2759 100 48 74:9			-that will be a difficult day,-
				عَلَى الْكَفِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ
	5503 2760 101 49 74:10			-it will not be easy for the unfaithful.
				ذَرْنِي وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدًا
	5504 2761 102 50 1461 74:11			Let Me deal with the one whom I created as an individual.
				وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ مَالا مَمْدُودًا
	5505 2762 103 51 74:12			And I gave him abundant wealth,-
				وَبَنِينَ شُهُودًا
	5506 2763 104 52 1462 74:13			-and sons to behold.
				وَمَهَّدْتُ لَهُ تَمْهِيدًا
	5507 2764 105 53 74:14			And I made everything easy for him.
				ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ
	5508 2765 106 54 74:15			Yet he is greedy for more.
				كَلا إِنَّهُ كَانَ لآيَتِنَا عَنِيدًا
	5509 2766 107 55 74:16			He absolutely refused to acknowledge Our proofs.
				سَأُرْهِقُهُ صَعُودًا
	5510 2767 108 56 1463 74:17			I will increasingly punish him.
				إِنَّهُ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ
	5511 2768 109 57 74:18			For indeed he pondered and decided.
				فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ
	5512 2769 110 58 1464 74:19			Therefore, woe to him for his decision.
				ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ
	5513 2770 111 59 74:20			Then again, woe to him for his decision.
				ثُمَّ نَظَرَ
	5514 2771 112 60 74:21			He then looked.
				ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ
	5515 2772 113 61 74:22			Then he frowned and he scowled.
				ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ
	5516 2773 114 62 1465 74:23			Then he turned his back and became arrogant.
				فَقَالَ إِنْ هَذَا إِلا سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ
	5517 2774 115 63 74:24			He then said; this is nothing but clever magic.
				إِنْ هَذَا إِلا قَوْلُ الْبَشَرِ
	5518 2775 116 64 74:25			This is no more than the word of a human.
				سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ
	5519 2776 117 65 74:26			I will soon throw him in Hell.
				وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سَقَرُ
	5520 2777 118 66 74:27			And do you realize what Hell is?
				لا تُبْقِي وَلا تَذَرُ
	5521 2778 119 67 74:28			It will neither finish one off nor will it leave one alone.
				لَوَّاحَةٌ لِلْبَشَرِ
	5522 2779 120 68 1466 74:29			It incinerates the human being.
				عَلَيْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ
	5523 2780 121 69 3983 74:30			Over it is Nineteen.
				وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَبَ النَّارِ إِلا مَلائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيمَنًا وَلا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالْكَفِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ
	5524 2781 122 70 1467 1795(2670,2671), 3(9,10) 74:31			And We appointed angels to be guardians of Hell and We have assigned their number only as a test for the unfaithful, and for the people of the scripture to attain certainty, and for the faithful to increase their faith, and that no doubts may remain for the people of the scripture and the faithful, and as for those who have a disease in their hearts and the unfaithful say, what did God mean by this example?  God thus sends astray whomever He wills and guides whomever He wills. And no one knows the armies of your Lord except He and this is only a reminder for all the people.
				كَلا وَالْقَمَرِ
	5525 2782 123 71 74:32			Absolutely, by the Moon.
				وَاللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ
	5526 2783 124 72 74:33			And by the night as it covers.
				وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا أَسْفَرَ
	5527 2784 125 73 74:34			And by the morning as it shines.
				إِنَّهَا لإحْدَى الْكُبَرِ
	5528 2785 126 74 74:35			This is indeed a great one.
				نَذِيرًا لِلْبَشَرِ
	5529 2786 127 75 74:36			A warning to all humans.
				لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ
	5530 2787 128 76 1468 74:37			For anyone amongst you who wants to advance or regress.
				كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ
	5531 2788 129 77 74:38			Every soul is trapped by her deeds.
				إِلا أَصْحَبَ الْيَمِينِ
	5532 2789 130 78 74:39			Except the dwellers of The Bliss.
				فِي جَنَّتٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
	5533 2790 131 79 74:40			While in paradises they ask-
				عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
	5534 2791 132 80 1469 74:41			-of the guilty.
				مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَرَ
	5535 2792 133 81 74:42			What caused you to end up in Hell?
				قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ
	5536 2793 134 82 1470 74:43			They say; we were not one of those who observed the contact prayer.
				وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ الْمِسْكِينَ
	5537 2794 135 83 74:44			Nor did we ever feed the poor.
				وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ الْخَائِضِينَ
	5538 2795 136 84 74:45			And we used to blunder with the blunderers.
				وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
	5539 2796 137 85 74:46			And we used to deny the Day of Faith.
				حَتَّى أَتَانَا الْيَقِينُ
	5540 2797 138 86 1471 74:47			Until we came face to face with reality.
				فَمَا تَنْفَعُهُمْ شَفَعَةُ الشَّفِعِينَ
	5541 2798 139 87 74:48			Then the intercession of the intercessors did not benefit them.
				فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِينَ
	5542 2799 140 88 74:49			Then why are they so averse to this reminder?
				كَأَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌ مُسْتَنْفِرَةٌ
	5543 2800 141 89 74:50			Just like donkeys running away.
				فَرَّتْ مِنْ قَسْوَرَةٍ
	5544 2801 142 90 74:51			Fleeing from a lion.
				بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُؤْتَى صُحُفًا مُنَشَّرَةً
	5545 2802 143 91 74:52			On the contrary, each one of them wants to receive the scripture personally.
				كَلا بَلْ لا يَخَافُونَ الآخِرَةَ
	5546 2803 144 92 1472 74:53			Absolutely, they do not fear the Hereafter.
				كَلا إِنَّهُ تَذْكِرَةٌ
	5547 2804 145 93 4001 74:54			Absolutely, this is indeed a reminder.
				فَمَنْ شَاءَ ذَكَرَهُ
	5548 2805 146 94 4002 74:55			Therefore, anyone who wills shall take heed.
				وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
	5549 2806 147 95  1796(2672), 4(11) 4003 74:56			And no one will take heed, unless in accordance with God's will. He is the source of righteousness; He is the source of forgiveness.
