نُونْ
وَالْقَلَمِ
وَمَايَسْطُرُونَ |
5270 2692 20 1 68:1 |
Nün, by Nün. By
the pen and what they write. |
مَا
أَنْتَ
بِنِعْمَةِ
رَبِّكَ
بِمَجْنُونٍ |
5271 2693 21 2 1387 68:2 |
Regarding your
Lord's blessings, you are not crazy. |
وَإِنَّ
لَكَ
لأجْرًا
غَيْرَ
مَمْنُونٍ |
5272 2694 22 3 1388 68:3 |
And indeed there
will be a well deserved recompense for you. |
وَإِنَّكَ
لَعَلى
خُلُقٍ
عَظِيم |
5273 2695 23 4 68:4 |
And you possess
a great moral character. |
فَسَتُبْصِرُ
وَيُبْصِرُونَ |
5274 2696 24 5 1389 68:5 |
You will soon
see and they will also see- |
بِأَيِّكُمُ
الْمَفْتُونُ |
5275 2697 25 6 68:6 |
-which one of
you is being tested. |
إِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
هُوَ
أَعْلَمُ
بِمَنْ
ضَلَّ عَنْ
سَبِيلِهِ
وَهُوَ
أَعْلَمُ
بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ |
5276 2698 26 7 1390 68:7 |
Indeed your Lord
knows best who has strayed off His path, and He knows best the guided
ones. |
فَلا
تُطِعِ
الْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
5277 2699 27 8 68:8 |
Therefore, do
not obey the rejecters. |
وَدُّوا
لَوْ
تُدْهِنُ
فَيُدْهِنُونَ |
5278 2700 28 9 68:9 |
They love to
compromise so that you may compromise. |
وَلا
تُطِعْ
كُلَّ
حَلافٍ
مَهِينٍ |
5279 2701 29 10 68:10 |
And do not obey
every lowly swearer,- |
هَمَّازٍ
مَشَّاءٍ
بِنَمِيمٍ |
5280 2702 30 11 1391 68:11 |
-a slanderer, a ubiquitous backbiter, a
malicious gossiper,- |
مَنَّاعٍ
لِلْخَيْرِ
مُعْتَدٍ
أَثِيمٍ |
5281 2703 31 12 68:12 |
-forbidder of righteousness, transgressor,
sinner. |
عُتُلٍّ
بَعْدَ
ذَلِكَ
زَنِيمٍ |
5282 2704 32 13 1392 68:13 |
Cruel and
utterly useless,- |
أَنْ
كَانَ ذَا
مَالٍ
وَبَنِينَ |
5283 2705 33 14 68:14 |
-although he
possesses money and sons. |
إِذَا
تُتْلَى
عَلَيْهِ
آيَتُنَا
قَالَ أَسَطِيرُ
الأوَّلِينَ |
5284 2706 34 15 68:15 |
When Our proofs
are recited to him, he says, tales from the past. |
سَنَسِمُهُ
عَلَى
الْخُرْطُومِ |
5285 2707 35 16 68:16 |
We will soon
mark his nose. |
إِنَّا
بَلَوْنَاهُمْ
كَمَا
بَلَوْنَا
أَصْحَبَ
الْجَنَّةِ
إِذْ
أَقْسَمُوا
لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا
مُصْبِحِينَ |
5286 2708 36 17 1393 68:17 |
Indeed, We
tested them just as We tested the proprietors of the garden, as they were
confident to pick the fruits in the morning. |
وَلا
يَسْتَثْنُونَ |
5287 2709 37 18 68:18 |
However, they
had no idea. |
فَطَافَ
عَلَيْهَا
طَائِفٌ
مِنْ
رَبِّكَ وَهُمْ
نَائِمُونَ |
5288 2710 38 19 1394 68:19 |
Then, a visitor
from your Lord arrived while they were asleep. |
فَأَصْبَحَتْ
كَالصَّرِيمِ |
5289 2711 39 20 68:20 |
Consequently, by
the morning, it became completely barren. |
فَتَنَادَوْا
مُصْبِحِينَ |
5290 2712 40 21 68:21 |
In the morning,
they announced,- |
أَنِ
اغْدُوا
عَلَى
حَرْثِكُمْ
إِنْ كُنْتُمْ
صَرِمِينَ |
5291 2713 41 22 68:22 |
-it is morning,
go to your harvest, if you are to reap it. |
فَانْطَلَقُوا
وَهُمْ
يَتَخَفَتُونَ |
5292 2714 42 23 1395 68:23 |
They therefore
departed, whispering,- |
أَنْ
لا
يَدْخُلَنَّهَا
الْيَوْمَ
عَلَيْكُمْ
مِسْكِينٌ |
5293 2715 43 24 68:24 |
-do not let any
needy person enter it today. |
وَغَدَوْا
عَلَى
حَرْدٍ
قَدِرِينَ |
5294 2716 44 25 68:25 |
And so they
started the morning, completely resolute. |
فَلَمَّا
رَأَوْهَا
قَالُوا
إِنَّا
لَضَالُّونَ |
5295 2717 45 26 68:26 |
But when they
saw it, they said, we have certainly lost. |
بَلْ
نَحْنُ
مَحْرُومُونَ |
5296 2718 46 27 68:27 |
Yes indeed, we
have been deprived. |
قَالَ
أَوْسَطُهُمْ
أَلَمْ
أَقُلْ
لَكُمْ لَوْلا
تُسَبِّحُونَ |
5297 2719 47 28 68:28 |
The just one
amongst them said; did I not tell you that you should glorify? |
قَالُوا
سُبْحَنَ
رَبِّنَا
إِنَّا
كُنَّا ظَلِمِينَ |
5298 2720 48 29 1396 68:29 |
They said; glory
to our Lord, we have certainly been transgressors. |
فَأَقْبَلَ
بَعْضُهُمْ
عَلَى
بَعْضٍ يَتَلوَمُونَ |
5299 2721 49 30 68:30 |
Then they turned
to one another blaming. |
قَالُوا
يَا
وَيْلَنَا
إِنَّا
كُنَّا طَغِينَ |
5300 2722 50 31 1397 68:31 |
They said; woe
to us, we have indeed been rebellious. |
عَسَى
رَبُّنَا
أَنْ
يُبْدِلَنَا
خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
إِنَّا
إِلَى
رَبِّنَا
رَغِبُونَ |
5301 2723 51 32 68:32 |
Perhaps, our
Lord will give us in exchange something better than this; we certainly seek
our Lord. |
كَذَلِكَ
الْعَذَابُ
وَلَعَذَابُ
الآخِرَةِ
أَكْبَرُ
لَوْ
كَانُوا
يَعْلَمُونَ |
5302 2724 52 33 68:33 |
Such is the
suffering; however, the suffering of the Hereafter is far greater. If they only knew. |
إِنَّ
لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
عِنْدَ
رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّتِ
النَّعِيمِ |
5303 2725 53 34 68:34 |
Surely, the
righteous will be at their Lord in blissful paradises. |
أَفَنَجْعَلُ
الْمُسْلِمِينَ
كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ |
5304 2726 54 35 68:35 |
Shall We
therefore treat the peace offerors like the guilty? |
مَا
لَكُمْ
كَيْفَ
تَحْكُمُونَ |
5305 2727 55 36 68:36 |
What is the
matter with your judgment? |
أَمْ
لَكُمْ
كِتَبٌ
فِيهِ
تَدْرُسُونَ |
5306 2728 56 37 1398 68:37 |
Do you have a
book through which you learn? |
إِنَّ
لَكُمْ
فِيهِ لَمَا
تَخَيَّرُونَ |
5307 2729 57 38 68:38 |
Can you indeed
find in it anything you like? |
أَمْ
لَكُمْ
أَيْمَنٌ
عَلَيْنَا
بَلِغَةٌ إِلَى
يَوْمِ
الْقِيَمَةِ
إِنَّ
لَكُمْ لَمَا
تَحْكُمُونَ |
5308 2730 58 39 68:39 |
Have you taken
an oath from Us until the Day of Resurrection that you indeed shall have
anything you want? |
سَلْهُمْ
أَيُّهُمْ
بِذَلِكَ
زَعِيمٌ |
5309 2731 59 40 68:40 |
Ask them, is
this what they think? |
أَمْ
لَهُمْ
شُرَكَاءُ
فَلْيَأْتُوا
بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ
إِنْ
كَانُوا
صَدِقِينَ |
5310 2732 60 41 1399 68:41 |
Do they have
partners for god? Then let them bring forth their partners for god, if they
are truthful. |
يَوْمَ
يُكْشَفُ
عَنْ سَاقٍ
وَيُدْعَوْنَ
إِلَى
السُّجُودِ
فَلا
يَسْتَطِيعُونَ |
5311 2733 61 42 68:42 |
The day when
they will be completely exposed and they will be invited to fall prostrate
but they cannot. |
خَشِعَةً
أَبْصَرُهُمْ
تَرْهَقُهُمْ
ذِلَّةٌ
وَقَدْ
كَانُوا
يُدْعَوْنَ
إِلَى السُّجُودِ
وَهُمْ
سَلِمُونَ |
5312 2734 62 43 1400 68:43 |
With their eyes
subdued, overwhelmed with humility, they realize they were invited to fall
prostrate when they were whole and able. |
فَذَرْنِي
وَمَنْ
يُكَذِّبُ
بِهَذَا
الْحَدِيثِ
سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ
مِنْ حَيْثُ
لا
يَعْلَمُونَ |
5313 2735 63 44 68:44 |
Therefore, do
not blame Me, and whoever rejects this narration, We will put them in their
places from where they least expect. |
وَأُمْلِي
لَهُمْ
إِنَّ
كَيْدِي
مَتِينٌ |
5314 2736 64 45 68:45 |
And inform them
that My system is indeed formidable. |
أَمْ
تَسْأَلُهُمْ
أَجْرًا
فَهُمْ مِنْ
مَغْرَمٍ
مُثْقَلُونَ |
5315 2737 65 46 68:46 |
Are you asking
them for a wage that heavily burdens them? |
أَمْ
عِنْدَهُمُ
الْغَيْبُ
فَهُمْ
يَكْتُبُونَ |
5316 2738 66 47 1401 68:47 |
Do they know the
future and have recorded it? |
فَاصْبِرْ
لِحُكْمِ
رَبِّكَ
وَلا تَكُنْ
كَصَاحِبِ
الْحُوتِ
إِذْ نَادَى
وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ |
5317 2739 67 48 68:48 |
Therefore, be
patient for your Lord's judgment and do not be like the companion of the
fish, as he called out in agony. |
لَوْلا
أَنْ
تَدَارَكَهُ
نِعْمَةٌ
مِنْ رَبِّهِ
لَنُبِذَ
بِالْعَرَاءِ
وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ |
5318 2740 68 49 68:49 |
If it were not
for a blessing from his Lord that touched him, he would have been thrown into
the desert in disgrace. |
فَاجْتَبَهُ
رَبُّهُ
فَجَعَلَهُ
مِنَ الصَّلِحِينَ |
5319 2741 69 50 68:50 |
But, His Lord
chose him and made him one of the righteous ones. |
وَإِنْ
يَكَادُ
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا
لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ
بِأَبْصَرِهِمْ
لَمَّا
سَمِعُوا
الذِّكْرَ
وَيَقُولُونَ
إِنَّهُ
لَمَجْنُونٌ |
5320 2742 70 51 68:51 |
And the
unfaithful almost want to wipe you out with their eyes when they hear the
message; and they say; he is surely crazy. |
وَمَا
هُوَ إِلا
ذِكْرٌ
لِلْعَلَمِينَ |
5321 2743 71 52 68:52 |
And this is but
a message to all. |
