				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ يُخْرِجُونَ الرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِي سَبِيلِي وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا أَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُمْ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْهُ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
	5149 2458 5248 2548 1705 (2519), 1176(1640) 60:1			O you faithful; do not take My enemies and your enemies as friends, extending friendship to them although they have disbelieved in what you have received of the truth; they evict the messenger and you just because you have faith in God your Lord and because you set out to strive in My cause and to seek My approval.  You keep your love for them a secret, while I know what you hide and declare. And whoever does this from amongst you then he has strayed off the even path.
				إِنْ يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُوا لَكُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَيَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ
	5150 2459 5249 2549 1338 60:2			If they achieve the upper hand over you, they turn into your enemies and they open up their hands and their tongues to persecute you and if you lose faith they would love you.
				لَنْ تَنْفَعَكُمْ أَرْحَامُكُمْ وَلا أَوْلادُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
	5151 2460 5250 2550 1706 (2520), 1177(1641) 1339  60:3			Neither your relatives nor your children will be of any use to you. On the Day of Resurrection, He will judge amongst you. And God sees all that you do.
				قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَآءُ مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِاللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ إِلا قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لأبِيهِ لأسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
	5152 2461 5251 2551 1707 (2521,2522,2523), 1178(1642,1643,1644)  60:4			There is a good example for you in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, we indeed disown you and what you worship besides God, we reject you, and there shall be animosity and hatred between us continuously, until you believe in God alone.  However, not a good example was Abraham's promise to his father that I will ask forgiveness for you but I do not possess any power in the least at God. Our Lord in You we trust and to You we repent and to You is our final destiny.
				رَبَّنَا لا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
	5153 2462 5252 2552 1340 60:5			Our Lord, do not make us a test for the unfaithful and forgive us, our Lord, indeed You are The Almighty, The All Wise.
				لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الآخِرَ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
	5154 2463 5253 2553 1708 (2524,2525), 1179(1645, 1646) 60:6			In them, there is indeed a good example for you and for those who seek God and the Last Day. However if anyone turns away, then God is in no need, Praiseworthy.
				عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَاللَّهُ قَدِيرٌ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	5155 2464 5254 2554  1709(2526,2527,2528), 1180(1647,1648,1649)  1341 60:7			Perhaps, God will establish between you and those who were your enemies love. And God is All Powerful. And God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ أَنْ تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ  الْمُقْسِطِينَ
	5156 2465 5255  2555  1710(2529,2530), 1181 (1650,1651) 60:8			God does not forbid you from being kind and equitable with those who do not fight you because of the faith and do not evict you from your homes. Indeed God loves those who are equitable.
				إِنَّمَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوا عَلَى إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَنْ تَوَلَّوْهُمْ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّلِمُونَ
	5157 2466 5256  2556  1711(2531), 1182(1652)   60:9			God only forbids you from extending friendship to those who fight you because of the faith, and evict you from your homes and band together in order to banish you.  And whoever extends friendship to them, then, these are the unjust.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَتُ مُهَاجِرَتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوهُنَّ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِهِنَّ فَإِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ فَلا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ لا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحِلُّونَ لَهُنَّ وَآتُوهُمْ مَا أَنْفَقُوا وَلا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنْكِحُوهُنَّ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَلا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَاسْأَلُوا مَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْأَلُوا مَا أَنْفَقُوا ذَلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ  حَكِيمٌ
	5158 2467  5257  2557  1714(2532,2533,2534), 1183(1653,1654,1655)  60:10			O you faithful, when faithful, emigrating women come to you, you shall test them. God knows best of their faith.  Once you establish that they are faithful, then, do not send them back to the unfaithful. They are not lawful for the unfaithful, nor are they lawful for them. However, you shall pay the unfaithful what they have spent on them.  And you will commit no error if you marry them as long as you pay their due wages.  And do not hold on to the guardianship of unfaithful women; ask for what you have spent on them, as the unfaithful ask for what they have spent on the women. This is God's command, He judges amongst you. And God is All Knowledgeable, All Wise.
				وَإِنْ فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُمْ مِثْلَ مَا أَنْفَقُوا وَاتَّقُوااللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنْتُمْ بِهِ  مُؤْمِنُونَ
	5159 2468 5258  2558  1713(2535), 1184(1656)  1342 60:11			And if any of your wives deserts you for the unfaithful, then take turns to pay to those whose wives have deserted them the equivalent of what they had spent on them. And you shall fear God, in whom you have faith.
				يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَى أَنْ لا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلا يَسْرِقْنَ وَلا يَزْنِينَ وَلا يَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلادَهُنَّ وَلا يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ  رَحِيمٌ
	5160 2469 5259  2559  1714 (2536,2537,2538), 1185(1657,1658,1659)  60:12			O you Prophet, when faithful women come to you to pledge allegiance to you, professing that they will not set up anything as a partner for God nor will they steal, nor will they commit adultery, nor will they kill their children, nor will they attribute a lie to someone, be it obvious or hidden, nor will they disobey your righteous orders, then you shall accept their pledge and ask God for forgiveness on their behalf. Indeed, God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا مِنَ الآخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَبِ الْقُبُورِ
	5161 2470  5260  2560 1715 (2539), 1186(1660)   1343 60:13			O you faithful; do not befriend people whom deserved God's wrath they have totally lost hope in the Hereafter, just like the unfaithful who despaired regarding those who are in graves.
