				مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَى
	4784 2093 337 285 1232 53:2			Your friend is neither astray nor is he misled.
				وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى
	4785 2094 338 286 1233 53:3			And he does not speak according to his desire.
				إِنْ هُوَ إِلا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى
	4786 2095 339 287 53:4			It is only an inspiration that was inspired.
				عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَى
	4787 2096 340 288 1234 53:5			The Ultimate Power taught him.
				ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَاسْتَوَى
	4788 2097 341 289 53:6			Possessor of power of creation, absolutely equitable.
				وَهُوَ بِالأفُقِ الأعْلَى
	4789 2098 342 290 1235 53:7			While he was in the highest horizon-
				ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّى
	4790 2099 343 291 53:8			-He then moved down and came closer.
				فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى
	4791 2100 344 292 53:9			He then came as close as a couple of bow lengths or even closer.
				فَأَوْحَى إِلَى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَى
	4792 2101 345 293 53:10			He then inspired to His servant what was to be inspired.
				مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى
	4793 2102 346 294 1236 53:11			The mind did not make up what he saw.
				أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَى مَا يَرَى
	4794 2103 347 295 53:12			Are you then doubtful of what he saw?
				وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى
	4795 2104 348 296 1237 53:13			And indeed he saw Him on another descent.
				عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى
	4796 2105 349 297 53:14			By the lotus tree at the ultimate point.
				عِنْدَهَا جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَى
	4797 2106 350 298 53:15			Where paradise exists.
				إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى
	4798 2107 351 299 53:16			While He covered the lotus tree as it was to be covered.
				مَا زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَى
	4799 2108 352 300 1238 53:17			The eye never wavered, nor did it ever look away.
				لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى
	4800 2109 353 301 53:18			Indeed he saw great signs from his Lord.
				أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللاتَ وَالْعُزَّى
	4801 2110 354 302 1239 53:19			Have you looked at Allat and Aluzza-
				وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الأخْرَى
	4802 2111 355 303 53:20			-and the third one, Manat?
				أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الأنْثَى
	4803 2112 356 304 53:21			Do you have males while He has females?
				تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَى
	4804 2113 357 305 53:22			This is indeed an unjust distribution.
				إِنْ هِيَ إِلا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطَنٍ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الأنْفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى
	4805 2114 358 306 1638(2412), 11(18) 1240 53:23			These are nothing but names that you have made up, you and your ancestors when God never authorized them. They only guess and they only follow their desires when indeed guidance had come to them from their Lord.
				أَمْ لِلإنْسَنِ مَا تَمَنَّى
	4806 2115 359 307 53:24			Does not the human being have what he desires?
				فَلِلَّهِ الآخِرَةُ وَالأولَى
	4807 2116 360 308 1639(2413), 12(19) 53:25			Ultimately to God belongs the Hereafter as well as this world.
				وَكَمْ مِنْ مَلَكٍ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ لا تُغْنِي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِلا مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَرْضَى
	4808 2117 361 309 1640(2414), 13(20) 53:26			And so many angels in the vacua, their intercession will have no benefit in the least, except after God has given permission for whomever He wills and approves.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ الْمَلائِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الأنْثَى
	4809 2118 362 310 53:27			Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter call the angels with feminine names.
				وَمَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلا الظَّنَّ وَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ لا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا
	4810 2119 363 311 53:28			And they do not have any knowledge thereof. They follow only conjecture; and conjecture is no substitute for the truth.
				فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَنْ تَوَلَّى عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلا الْحَيَوةَ الدُّنْيَا
	4811 2120 364 312 1241 53:29			Therefore disregard those who turn away from Our message and seek only this worldly life.
				ذَلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اهْتَدَى
	4812 2121 365 313 53:30			This is their share of knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best those who deviate from His path, and He knows best those who are guided.
				وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأرْضِ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا بِالْحُسْنَى
	4813 2122 366 314 1641(2415), 14(21) 1242 53:31			And to God belongs everything in the vacua and everything within matter. This is in order to requite those who commit evil, according to their deeds, and to reward those who do good with the best.
				الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الإثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ إِلا اللَّمَمَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنْشَأَكُمْ مِنَ الأرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنْتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ فَلا تُزَكُّوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اتَّقَى
	4814 2123 367 315 53:32			Those who avoid gross sins and vice, except for minor offenses. Indeed your Lord's forgiveness is ever-expanding. He knows you best since He initiated you from the ground and since you were embryos in your mothers' bellies. Therefore do not claim of having pure souls, He fully knows those who are god-fearing.
				أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي تَوَلَّى
	4815 2124 368 316 53:33			Do you see the one who turns away?
				وَأَعْطَى قَلِيلا وَأَكْدَى
	4816 2125 369 317 53:34			And who gives very little, and very reluctantly?
				أَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَى
	4817 2126 370 318 53:35			Does he have the knowledge of the future and can he see it?
				أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَى
	4818 2127 371 319 53:36			Is he not informed of the content of Moses' scripture?
				وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ الَّذِي وَفَّى
	4819 2128 372 320 1243 53:37			As well as that of Abraham who was most loyal?
				أَلا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى
	4820 2129 373 321 53:38			Absolutely, no one carries the sins of another.
				وَأَنْ لَيْسَ لِلإنْسَنِ إِلا مَا سَعَى
	4821 2130 374 322 53:39			And the human has nothing unless he works for it.
				وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَى
	4822 2131 375 323 53:40			And he will soon see the results of his work.
				ثُمَّ يُجْزَاهُ الْجَزَاءَ الأوْفَى
	4823 2132 376 324 1244 53:41			Then he will be recompensed with a complete reward.
				وَأَنَّ إِلَى رَبِّكَ الْمُنْتَهَى
	4824 2133 377 325 53:42			And indeed to your Lord is the final destiny.
				وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَى
	4825 2134 378 326 1245 53:43			And surely He makes you laugh and cry.
				وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا
	4826 2135 379 327 53:44			And surely He grants death and life.
				وَأَنَّهُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأنْثَى
	4827 2136 380 328 53:45			And indeed He created in pairs, male and female.
				مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَى
	4828 2137 381 329 53:46			From a tiny drop of semen.
				وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّشْأَةَ الأخْرَى
	4829 2138 382 330 1246 53:47			And surely, He will initiate once again.
				وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَغْنَى وَأَقْنَى
	4830 2139 383 331 53:48			And indeed He makes you rich and gives you contentment.
				وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَى
	4831 2140 384 332 53:49			And He is the Lord of knowledge.
				وَأَنَّهُ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا الأولَى
	4832 2141 385 333 53:50			And indeed He destroyed the ancient Aad-
				وَثَمُودَ فَمَا أَبْقَى
	4833 2142 386 334 53:51			-and the Thamoud and those after them-
				وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَى
	4834 2143 387 335 53:52			-as well as the people of Noah before them. They were indeed all transgressors, rebellious.
				وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَى
	4835 2144 388 336 1247 53:53			And He uprooted those who gave in to their desires.
				فَغَشَّاهَا مَا غَشَّى
	4836 2145 389 337 53:54			Then they were covered with specific material.
				فَبِأَيِّ آلاءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَى
	4837 2146 390 338 53:55			Therefore, which one of your Lord's marvels do you doubt?
				هَذَا نَذِيرٌ مِنَ النُّذُرِ الأولَى
	4838 2147 391 339 53:56			This is a warner like the previous warners.
				أَزِفَتِ الآزِفَةُ
	4839 2148 392 340 53:57			It is approaching ever nearer.
				لَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ
	4840 2149 393 341 1642(2416), 15(22) 53:58			No one besides God can stop it.
				أَفَمِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ
	4841 2150 394 342 1248 53:59			Are you then surprised regarding this narration?
				وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلا تَبْكُونَ
	4842 2151 395 343 53:60			And you continue laughing instead of crying.
				وَأَنْتُمْ سَامِدُونَ
	4843 2152 396 344 1249 53:61			And you continue to amuse yourself.
				فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا
	4844 2153 397 345 1643(2417), 16(23) 53:62			You shall therefore fall prostrate to God, and worship Him.
