				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ بَهِيمَةُ الأنْعَامِ إِلا مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُمٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ
	670 184 5985 3242 441(723) 5:1			O you faithful, you shall abide by the covenants. It is lawful for you all quadruped livestock, except what is recited to you; it is also unlawful to hunt during the period of time decreed as prohibition for you.  Indeed God commands whatever He wills.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تُحِلُّوا شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ وَلا الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلا الْهَدْيَ وَلا الْقَلائِدَ وَلا آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلا مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانًا وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَاصْطَادُوا وَلا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ أَنْ صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَنْ تَعْتَدُوا وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَنِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
	671 185 5986 3243 442(724,725,726) 152 5:2			O you faithful, you shall not violate God's rites, or the sacred months, or the offerings, or the tags around their necks, or those who head to the Sacred House, seeking their Lord's grace and His approval.  Once the prohibition period is over you may hunt.  You shall not be provoked by the animosity towards the people who barred you from the Sacred Mosque into aggression.  You shall help each other in acts of righteousness and piety but do not cooperate in sinful acts and aggression.  You shall fear God.  Indeed God possesses the ultimate punishment.
				حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَنْ تَسْتَقْسِمُوا بِالأزْلامِ ذَلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ دِينِكُمْ فَلا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإسْلامَ دِينًا فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لإثْمٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	672 186 5987 3244 443(727,728) 153 5:3			Prohibited for you are the dead, the blood, the meat of the pig and what is dedicated to other than God as well as that which dies by strangulation, or by being struck by an object or illness, or fallen from a height, gored, or being eaten by a wild animal unless it is alive and you can slaughter it, as well as what is slaughtered in front of the idols and you shall not divide through a shooting match.  All of these are abominations on your part. Today, the unfaithful have rejected your faith, therefore, do not fear them and you shall be reverent.  Today, I have completed your faith for you and have perfected my blessings upon you and have approved Islam as your faith. Therefore, if one is forced by starvation without deliberate malice, then God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُمْ مِنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللَّهُ فَكُلُوا مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
	673 187 5988 3245 444(729,730,731,732) 5:4			They ask you what is lawful for them. Say, the clean things have been decreed lawful for you, and what your trained hunting animals secure for you. You train them according to what God has taught you.  Therefore, eat from what they catch for you and mention God's name upon it.  Furthermore, you shall fear God, for indeed God is quick in reckoning.
				الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ حِلٌّ لَكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ وَالْمُحْصَنَتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَفِحِينَ وَلا مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالإيمَنِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَسِرِينَ
	674 188 5989 3246 154 5:5			Today all clean things are lawful for you, and the food of the people of the scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them, as well as the chaste believing women and the chaste women of the people of the previous scripture as long as you give them their wages, provided they maintain chastity, do not commit unlawful acts, and do not take secret lovers. Furthermore, whoever disbelieves in faith, he has then nullified his work and he will end up among the losers in the Hereafter.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلوةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوا وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لامَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُمْ مِنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَكِنْ يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
	675 189 5990 3247 445(733) 5:6			O you who have attained faith when you observe the contact prayer, you shall wash your faces and your hands to your elbows, wipe your heads as a healing and wash your feet to the ankles.  However, if you are unclean due to sexual orgasm, then you shall bathe. And if you are ill or on travel and cannot find water, and any of you has digestive excretion or has touched women, then you shall perform dry ablution with clean dry soil by wiping your faces and your hands with it as a healing.  God does not wish to cause you hardship but wishes to cleanse you and to complete His blessings upon you that you may be appreciative.
				وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَقَهُ الَّذِي وَاثَقَكُمْ بِهِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
	676 190 5991 3248 446(734,735,736) 155 5:7			And you shall remember God's blessings upon you and His covenant and the fact that He made you strong with it, as you proclaimed that we hear and we obey; and you shall fear God. Indeed God is All Knower of the innermost thoughts.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلا تَعْدِلُوا اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
	677 191 5992 3249 447(737,738,739) 5:8			O you who attained faith, stand up for God as equitable witnesses, and do not be provoked by animosity towards a people into being biased. You shall be equitable, for it is closer to piety, and you shall fear God. Indeed God is Cognizant of what you do.
				وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
	678 192 5993 3250 448(740) 5:9			God has promised those who have attained faith and led a righteous life that reserved for them are forgiveness and a tremendous reward.
				وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَتِنَا أُولَئِكَ أَصْحَبُ الْجَحِيمِ
	679 193 5994 3251 5:10			As for those who have no faith and rejected our proofs, they are the dwellers of the Inferno.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ أَنْ يَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
	680 194 5995 3252 449(741,742,743) 156 5:11			O you who have attained faith, remember God's blessings upon you when the hands of aggression of a group of people opened up to strike you, He held their hands back, away from you, therefore, you shall fear God. Furthermore, in God the faithful shall trust.
				وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَقَ بَنِي إِسْرَئِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ اللَّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلوةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَوةَ وَآمَنْتُمْ بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لأكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلأدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
	681 195 5996 3253 450(744,745,746) 5:12			And God took a covenant from the Children of Israel and raised from them twelve leaders, and God said, I am indeed with you, as long as you observe the contact prayer and give the cleansing charity and believe in My messengers, help them and loan God a loan of righteousness, I will then indeed remit your sins and will surely admit you into paradises with flowing streams beneath them. However, if any one disbelieves afterwards, then he has indeed strayed off the even path.
				فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِيثَقَهُمْ لَعَنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَسِيَةً يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ وَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ وَلا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى خَائِنَةٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلا قَلِيلا مِنْهُمْ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
	682 196 5997 3254 451(747) 157 5:13			Afterwards, because they violated their covenant, We cursed them and hardened their hearts, as they insisted upon double talk. And they forgot the benefit of what they were reminded with. You will continue to see betrayal from them except for a few of them. Therefore, you shall pardon them and disregard them. Indeed God loves the do-gooders.
				وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَمَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
	683 197 5998 3255 452(748) 5:14			Likewise, We took a covenant from those who said, we are indeed Nazarenes, then they forgot the benefit of what they were reminded with. Consequently, We condemned them to animosity and hatred amongst them until the Day of Resurrection.  Moreover, God will soon inform them of what they used to concoct.
				يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَبِ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَبٌ مُبِينٌ
	684 198 5999 3256 453(749) 5:15			O people of the scripture, Our messenger has indeed come to you in order to clarify for you many things you conceal from the scripture while disregarding many more. Indeed, a light has come to you from God and a clarifying scripture.
				يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَنَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلامِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
	685 199 6000 3257 454(750) 5:16			God guides with it whoever seeks His approval, the paths of peace; consequently He takes them out of the darkness into the light by His leave.  And He guides them to the right path.
				لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قُلْ فَمَنْ يَمْلِكُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهْلِكَ الْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ وَمَنْ فِي الأرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا يخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
	686 200 6001 3258 455(751,752,753,754) 158 5:17			Indeed the unfaithful are those who said surely God is the Healer, Son of Mary.  Say, who then can do a thing if God wills to annihilate the Healer, Son of Mary, his mother and everyone on the land altogether? Furthermore, to God belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter and everything between them. He creates whatever He wills. Moreover, God is All Powerful over all things.
				وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُمْ بِذُنُوبِكُمْ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ بَشَرٌ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ واللَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
	687 201 6002 3259 456(755,756) 5:18			And the Judeans and the Nazarenes said they are God's children and His beloved ones. Say, why then does He punish you for your sins? On the contrary, you are humans that He has created.  He forgives whomever He wills and punishes whomever He wills. Furthermore, to God belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter and everything between them, and to Him is your final destiny.
				يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَى فَتْرَةٍ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مَا جَاءَنَا مِنْ بَشِيرٍ وَلا نَذِيرٍ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَشِيرٌ وَنَذِيرٌ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
	688 202 6003 3260 457(757) 159 5:19			O people of the scripture, Our messenger has indeed come to you in order to clarify matters for you, after a period of time with no messengers that you may not say, we did not receive any bearer of good news and a warner. A bearer of good news as well as a warner has now come to you.  And God is All Powerful over all things.
				وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَلَمِينَ
	689 203 6004 3261 458(758) 5:20			And when Moses said to his people, O my people; remember God's blessings upon you as He appointed prophets from amongst you and made you kings and granted you what He has never granted any other people.
				يَا قَوْمِ ادْخُلُوا الأرْضَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلا تَرْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَسِرِينَ
	690 204 6005 3262 459(759) 5:21			O my people; enter the Holy Land that God has decreed for you and do not turn your backs lest you become losers.
				قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا حَتَّى يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَخِلُونَ
	691 205 6006 3263 5:22			They said, O Moses there are powerful people in there and for sure, indeed we will not enter unless they leave, once they leave, then we will surely enter.
				قَالَ رَجُلانِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَلِبُونَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
	692 206 6007 3264 460(760,761) 160 5:23			Two men, who revered God's blessing upon them said, just enter the gate and once you enter it then you will be victorious.  Furthermore, in God you shall trust if you are faithful.
				قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا أَبَدًا مَا دَامُوا فِيهَافَاذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَتِلا إِنَّا هَهُنَا قَعِدُون
	693 207 6008 3265 5:24			They said, O Moses, for sure we will never enter as long as they are in there.  Therefore, go you and your Lord, and the two of you fight, we will stay put here.
				قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لا أَمْلِكُ إِلا نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَسِقِينَ
	694 208 6009 3266 5:25			He said, Lord, indeed I have no authority except over myself and my brother therefore separate us from the wicked people.
				قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً يَتِيهُونَ فِي الأرْضِ فَلا تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْفَسِقِينَ
	695 209 6010 3267 5:26			He said, it is then prohibited for them for forty years, while they wander throughout the land.  Therefore, do not grieve for the wicked people.
				وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ قَالَ لأقْتُلَنَّكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
	696 210 6011 3268 461(762) 5:27			And recite for them the history of Adam's sons truthfully as they both approached with an offering, it was then accepted from one of them while it was not accepted from the other, he said, I will surely kill you.  He said, indeed God only accepts from the righteous.
				لَئِنْ بَسَطْتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِي مَا أَنَا بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِيَ إِلَيْكَ لأقْتُلَكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْعَلَمِينَ
	697 211 6012 3269 462(763) 5:28			Indeed if you raise your hand to strike me dead, I will not raise my hand to kill you.  Certainly, I fear God, Lord of the multiverse.
				إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ تَبُوءَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَبِ النَّارِ وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الظَّلِمِينَ
	698 212 6013 3270 161 5:29			I want you to carry my sins as well as your own sins, then, you will become a dweller of Hell.  And this is a just reward for the unjust.
				فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُ نَفْسُهُ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَسِرِينَ
	699 213 6014 3271 5:30			However, his ego enticed him into killing his brother, consequently he murdered him; he then ended up with the losers.
				فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِي الأرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَرِي سَوْأَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَرِيَ سَوْأَةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّدِمِينَ
	700 214 6015 3272 463(764) 162 5:31			God then raised a raven to scratch the ground in order to show him how to cover his brother's body. He said woe to me; I am even less capable than this raven to cover my brother's body. He then was overwhelmed with remorse.
				مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَئِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الأرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ
	701 215 6016 3273 5:32			After this incident, We decreed for the Children of Israel that indeed if one kills a soul who did not commit murder, or has not spread evil throughout the land, it will be then as though he has killed all the people, and if one spares a life, it is like as though he has spared the lives of all the people.  And when our messengers went to them with proofs, then, most of them after all this transgressed throughout the land.
				إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأرْضِ فَسَادًا أَنْ يُقَتَّلُوا أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوا أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ مِنْ خِلافٍ أَوْ يُنْفَوْا مِنَ الأرْضِ ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْيٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
	702 216 6017 3274 464(765) 5:33			Indeed the just requital for those who fight God and His messenger and do their best to spread evil throughout the land is to end up killed, or to be crucified, or get their hands and feet cut on the alternate sides, or get banished from the land.  Reserved for them is humiliation in this world, and in the Hereafter, awaiting them is a tremendous suffering.
				إِلا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	703 217 6018 3275 465(766) 5:34			Exempted are those who repent before you overcome them. You shall, therefore, know that indeed God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَابْتَغُوا إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
	704 218 6019 3276 466(767) 5:35			O you who have attained faith, fear God and seek out the means to reach Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا فِي الأرْض جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مّعّهُ لِيَفْتَدُوا بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَمَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ مَعَهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
	705 219 6020 3277 5:36			Indeed as for those who have no faith, if they owned all the worldly possessions and even twice as much and gave it away as ransom, to avoid the suffering of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them. And awaiting them is a painful suffering.
				يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُمْ بِخَرِجِينَ مِنْهَا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ
	706 220 6021 3278 163 5:37			They want to exit the Fire, but they will not exit it, and their suffering is uninterrupted.
				وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
	707 221 6022 3279 467(768,769) 5:38			As for the thief, be it male or female, you shall take them into custody, as a requital for what they have earned, a deterrent punishment  from God.  And God is Almighty, All Wise.
				فَمَنْ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	708 222 6023 3280 468(770,771) 5:39			Thereafter, whoever repents after committing his transgression and reforms, God will then forgive him.  Indeed God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
	709 223 6024 3281 469(772,773) 5:40			Do you not realize that indeed to God belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter, He punishes whomever He wills and forgives whomever He wills, and God is All Powerful over all things?
				يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَرِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا سَمَّعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُوا وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
	710 224 6025 3282 470(774,775,776) 164 5:41			O you messenger do not be saddened by those who race towards disbelief, these are amongst those who said, we believed as a lip service while there was no belief in their hearts, and as for some of those who were Judeans, they listened tirelessly to lies, they listened tirelessly to those people who did not respond to you.  They take the word out of context. They say if you are given this then take it, however, if you are given anything else then beware.  Furthermore, if God wills someone's downfall, then nothing can help him against God.  These are the ones that God has not willed to cleanse their hearts.  For them, there is humiliation in this world, and awaiting them in the Hereafter is a tremendous suffering.
				سَمَّعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّلُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِنْ جَاءُوكَ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِنْ تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَنْ يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ
	711 225 6026 3283 471(777) 5:42			They listen tirelessly to lies, and consume illicit earnings. Therefore, if they come to you, you may judge amongst them or you may disregard them, and if you disregard them they cannot harm you in the least.  However if you decide to judge amongst them you shall judge equitably.  Surely God loves those who are equitable.
				وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِنْدَهُمُ التَّوْرَةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أُولَئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ
	712 226 6027 3284 472(778) 165 5:43			Furthermore, how can they ask you to judge amongst them when they have the Torah wherein is God's judgment, but they turned away afterward?  And these are not faithful.
				إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا التَّوْرَةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالرَّبَّنِيُّونَ وَالأحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوا مِنْ كِتَبِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَفِرُونَ
	713 227 6028 3285 473(779,780) 5:44			Indeed We revealed the Torah wherein is guidance and light. The prophets who were peace offerors judged using it for those who were Judeans and the rabbis and the priests according to what they remembered from God's scripture and they were witnesses thereof.  Therefore, do not fear the people and you shall be reverent and do not trade My Signs for a cheap price. Moreover, those who do not judge according to what God has revealed then they are unfaithful.
				وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالأنْفَ بِالأنْفِ وَالأذُنَ بِالأذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّلِمُونَ
	714 228 6029 3286 474(781) 5:45			And We decreed for them in it that a soul for a soul, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear and a tooth for a tooth as well as for any injury its equivalent.  However, whoever pardons it as a charity; it will serve as atonement for him.  As for those who do not judge according to what God has revealed, then they are committing an injustice.
				وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَرِهِمْ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَةِ وَآتَيْنَهُ الإنْجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
	715 229 6030 3287 5:46			And We sent to their progeny Jesus Son of Mary, confirming the Torah and We gave him the Injeel wherein is guidance and light confirming the Torah as well as further guidance and enlightenment for the righteous.
				وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ الإنْجِيلِ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَسِقُونَ
	716 230 6031 3288 475(782,783) 166 5:47			Furthermore, it was to serve as a constitution for those who followed the Injeel in accordance to what God revealed therein.  And whoever does not rule according to God's revelation, then, they are wicked.
				وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَبَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَحِدَةً وَلَكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَتِ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
	717 231 6032 3289 476(784,785,786) 5:48			And We revealed to you the scripture truthfully, confirming the existing scriptures and superceding them. Therefore, you shall judge amongst them according to God's revelation; and do not follow their wishes forsaking what has come to you from the truth. For every one of you, We made ways and means. And if God willed, He indeed would have made you a single community, however, He tests you through what He has given you; therefore you shall race towards righteousness.  To God is your destiny, all of you, He will then inform you of everything you had disputed.
				وَأَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصِيبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ لَفَسِقُونَ
	718 232 6033 3290 477(787,788,789) 5:49			And you shall judge amongst them according to what God has revealed and do not follow their wishes and disregard them when they test you with some of what God has revealed to you, therefore, if they turn away, you shall know that God is afflicting them due to some of their sins.  Moreover, most of the people are wicked.
				أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
	719 233 6034 3291 478(790) 5:50			Is it the constitution of ignorance that they are coveting? And what is better than God's constitution for those people who have attained certainty?
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّلِمِينَ
	720 234 6035 3292 479(791) 5:51			O you faithful do not take the Judeans and the Nazarenes as allies.  Some of them are each other's allies. And if you take them as allies, then indeed you are one of them. Surely God does not guide the unjust.
				فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ يُسَرِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَى أَنْ تُصِيبَنَا دَائِرَةٌ فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَدِمِينَ
	721 235 6036 3293 480(792) 5:52			Then you see those who have a disease in their hearts race towards them, saying we fear ending up besieged.  Thereafter, God may grant victory or a resolution from Him, then, the reality of what they kept secret within themselves will make them sorry.
				وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَهَؤُلاءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَنِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَلُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا خَسِرِينَ
	722 236 6037 3294 481(793) 167 5:53			And those who have faith say, these are the ones who swore by God, a solemn oath, that indeed we are with you.  Their works were nullified; therefore, they ended up losers.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَنْ يَرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَفِرِينَ يُجَهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لائِمٍ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
	723 237 6038 3295 482(794,795,796,797) 5:54			O you who have attained faith, if you forsake your faith, God will soon bring a people whom He loves and they love Him, who are humble with the faithful and mighty against the unfaithful, they strive in the cause of God, without fear of blame by any blamer. This is a bounty from God; He bestows it upon whomever He wills.  Moreover, God is Expander, All Knowing.
				إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلوةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَوةَ وَهُمْ رَكِعُونَ
	724 238 6039 3296 483(798) 5:55			Indeed your ally is God and His messenger as well as the faithful who observe the contact prayer and give the cleansing charity and they bow down.
				وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَإِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْغَلِبُونَ
	725 239 6040 3297 484(799,800) 5:56			And whoever allies himself with God and His messenger as well as the faithful, then indeed he belongs to the party of God who are always victorious.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا  وَلَعِبًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَبَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
	726 240 6041 3298 485(801) 5:57			O you who have attained faith, do not take those who mock and ridicule your faith, from amongst those who have received the scripture before you and the unfaithful, as allies.  And you shall fear God if you are faithful.
				وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلوةِ اتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لا يَعْقِلُونَ
	727 241 6042 3299 5:58			And when you are called to observe the contact prayer, they poke fun and ridicule. This is because they are indeed people who do not comprehend.
				قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ هَلْ تَنْقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَسِقُونَ
	728 242 6043 3300 486(802) 168 5:59			Say, O people of the scripture, why do you hate us when we believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed previously, and most of you are wicked?
				قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشَرٍّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّغُوتَ أُولَئِكَ شَرٌّ مَكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ عَنْ سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ
	729 243 6044 3301 487(803,804) 5:60			Say, shall I inform you of the worst requital in the site of God? It is the one whom God curses and His wrath is directed towards him, He thus transformed them into monkeys and pigs as they worshiped idols. These have a miserable abode and have strayed off the even path.
				وَإِذَا جَاءُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَقَدْ دَخَلُوا بِالْكُفْرِ وَهُمْ قَدْ خَرَجُوا بِهِ واللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْتُمُونَ
	730 244 6045 3302 488(805) 169 5:61			And when they come to you, they say we believe, although they entered with disbelief and left with it.  Furthermore, God knows best what they conceal.
				وَتَرَى كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ يُسَرِعُونَ فِي الإثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَنِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
	731 245 6046 3303 5:62			And you see many of them race towards sin and animosity and consume illicit earnings. Indeed, how terrible is what they are doing.
				لَوْلا يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّنِيُّونَ وَالأحْبَارُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِمُ الإثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
	732 246 6047 3304 5:63			Why do the rabbis and the priests not enjoin them from sinful utterances and their consumption of illicit earnings? Indeed, how terrible is what they are concocting.
				وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا بِمَا قَالُوا بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنْفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَمَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُوا نَارًا لِلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللَّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأرْضِ فَسَادًا وَاللَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
	733 247 6048 3305 489(806,807,808) 5:64			And the Judeans said, God's hand is tied. Their hands are tied and they will be cursed for what they uttered. On the contrary, His hands are wide open, providing in any manner He wills. And indeed most of them display the highest rebellion and disbelief in what was revealed to you from your Lord.  And We threw animosity and hatred amongst them until the Day of Resurrection. And whenever they fan the flames of war, God extinguishes it.  And they try their best to spread corruption throughout the land.  And God does not love those who spread corruption.
				وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلأدْخَلْنَهُمْ جَنَّتِ النَّعِيمِ
	734 248 6049 3306 5:65			And if only the people of the scripture believe and become reverent, We will indeed remit their sins and will surely admit them into paradises full of bliss.
				وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُوا التَّوْرَةَ وَالإنْجِيلَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لأكَلُوا مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُقْتَصِدَةٌ وَكَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ سَاءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ
	735 249 6050 3307 5:66			And had they only upheld the Torah and the Injeel and what was revealed to them from their Lord, they would have had provisions from above them and from under their feet.  Amongst them is a prudent community, but as for most of them, evil is what they do.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُ وَاللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَفِرِينَ
	736 250 6051 3308 490(809,810) 170 5:67			O you messenger, deliver what is revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not do so, then you have not delivered His message.  And God will protect you from the people.  Indeed God does not guide the disbelieving people.
				قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ حَتَّى تُقِيمُوا التَّوْرَةَ وَالإنْجِيلَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ طُغْيَنًا وَكُفْرًا فَلا تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَفِرِينَ
	737 251 6052 3309 5:68			Say, O people of the scripture, I have nothing to do with you unless you uphold the Torah and the Injeel and what is revealed to you from your Lord.  And indeed most of them increase the rebellion and disbelief in what is revealed to you from your Lord.  Therefore, do not despair because of disbelieving people.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَى مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَلِحًا فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
	738 252 6053 3310 491(811) 5:69			Surely those who have attained faith, those who are Judeans, the Converts, and the Nazarenes, all of those who believe in God, the Last Day and lead a righteous life, they will have nothing to fear nor will they grieve.
				لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَقَ بَنِي إِسْرَئِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلا كُلَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لا تَهْوَى أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُوا وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ
	739 253 6054 3311 5:70			Indeed We took a covenant from the Children of Israel, and sent messengers to them, but every time a messenger went to them, with what were not according to their wishes, some they rejected and some they murdered.
				وَحَسِبُوا أَلا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُوا وَصَمُّوا ثُمَّ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا وَصَمُّوا كَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
	740 254 6055 3312 492(812,813) 171 5:71			And they thought they would not be tested, therefore, they became blind and deaf, then God redeemed them, thereafter many of them remained blind and deaf.  And God is All Seer of what they do.
				لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَقَالَ الْمَسِيحُ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ
	741 255 6056 3313 493(814,815,816,817) 5:72			Surely unfaithful are those who said, indeed God is he, the Healer, Son of Mary, while the Healer said, O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord, indeed any one who sets up partners for God, then God has indeed forbidden Paradise for him and his abode is Hell, and there are no helpers for the unjust.
				لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلاثَةٍ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِلا إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
	742 256 6057 3314 494(818) 172 5:73			Surely unfaithful are those who said, indeed God is a third of a trinity, however, there is no god except the one god. And if they do not refrain from their utterance, the unfaithful amongst them will surely incur a painful suffering.
				أَفَلا يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	743 257 6058 3315 495(819,820) 5:74			Why do they not repent to God, and ask Him for forgiveness? And God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				مَا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِه  الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلانِ الطَّعَامَ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الآيَتِ ثُمَّ انْظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
	744 258 6059 3316 5:75			The Healer, Son of Mary is not but a messenger like the messengers before him and his mother was a saint. Both of them used to consume food.  Observe how We clarify for them our signs then watch them deviate.
				قُلْ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لا يَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلا نَفْعًا وَاللَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
	745 259 6060 3317 496(821,822) 5:76			Say, do you worship besides God, what does not possess any harm or benefit for you?  And God is The All Hearer, The All Knowing.
				قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَبِ لا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا أَهْوَاءَ قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّوا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا وَضَلُّوا عَنْ سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ
	746 260 6061 3318 5:77			Say, O people of the scripture do not exaggerate about your religion untruthfully and do not follow the wishes of the people who went astray previously and misled many and strayed off the even path.
				لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَئِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُدَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ
	747 261 6062 3319 5:78			Cursed are the unfaithful amongst the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and Jesus, Son of Mary.  This was because they rebelled and transgressed.
				كَانُوا لا يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
	748 262 6063 3320 173 5:79			They never prohibited evil they actually did it. Indeed how bad it was what they used to do.
				تَرَى كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ سَخِطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَلِدُونَ
	749 263 6064 3321 497(823) 5:80			You see many of them ally themselves with those who have no faith. Indeed how bad it was what they sent forth on their own behalf, it only brought God's wrath upon them and an everlasting suffering.
				وَلَوْ كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالنَّبِيِّ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ فَسِقُونَ
	750 264 6065 3322 498(824) 5:81			And had they believed in God and the prophet and what was revealed to him, they would have never taken them as allies, however, many of them are evildoers.
				لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَوَدَّةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
	751 265 6066 3323 5:82			Indeed you find the people who are the most ardent enemies of those who have attained faith are the Judeans and those who set up partners for god, and you find that the closest friendship towards the faithful is displayed by those who said, we are Nazarenes. This is because they have priests and ministers who are surely not arrogant.
				وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَى أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّهِدِينَ
	752 266 6067 3324 174 5:83			And when they hear what was revealed to the messenger, you see their eyes filled with tears because they recognize the truth, saying, our Lord  we believe, therefore, include us with the witnesses.
				وَمَا لَنَا لا نُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّلِحِينَ
	753 267 6068 3325 499(825) 5:84			And why should we not believe in God and what has come to us of the truth? Furthermore, we would like very much for our Lord to admit us along with the righteous people.
				فَأَثَابَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا جَنَّتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
	754 268 6069 3326 500(826) 5:85			Thereafter, God rewarded them for what they said with paradises with flowing streams beneath them, wherein they dwell eternally. And this is a just reward for the do-gooders.
				وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَتِنَا أُولَئِكَ أَصْحَبُ الْجَحِيمِ
	755 269 6070 3327 5:86			As for those who rejected Our Signs, they are the dwellers of the Inferno.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
	756 270 6071 3328 501(827,828) 5:87			O you who have attained faith, do not prohibit the clean things that God has made lawful for you and do not transgress. Indeed, God does not love transgressors.
				وَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالا طَيِّبًا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنْتُمْ بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ
	757 271 6072 3329 502(829,830) 5:88			And eat from what God has provided for you, lawful and clean. And fear God, the one in whom you have faith.
				لا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَنِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُمُ الأيْمَنَ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَنِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَنَكُمْ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
	758 272 6073 3330 503(831,832) 175 5:89			God does not hold you responsible for your casual oaths, however, He holds you responsible for your binding oaths. Therefore its atonement is to feed ten poor people from what you usually feed your own family, or clothe them, or free a slave, however, if one cannot find one, then fast three days. This is atonement for your unfulfilled oaths that you promised.  And you shall fulfill your oaths. God thus clarifies His Signs for you that you may become appreciative.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأنْصَابُ وَالأزْلامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَنِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
	759 273 6074 3331 5:90			O you who have attained faith, indeed intoxicants, gambling, idols, and altars are abominations from the work of Satan, you shall therefore avoid him that you may be successful.
				إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَنُ أَنْ يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلوةِ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ
	760 274 6075 3332 504(833) 5:91			Indeed, Satan only wants to create animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling and prevent you from commemorating God as well as the contact prayer. Therefore, would you not discontinue?
				وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاحْذَرُوا فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلاغُ الْمُبِينُ
	761 275 6076 3333 505(834) 5:92			And you shall obey God and obey the messenger and refrain. Thereafter, if you revert, you shall know that indeed the only duty upon Our messenger is to clearly deliver.
				لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُوا إِذَا مَا اتَّقَوْا وَآمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَآمَنُوا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَأَحْسَنُوا وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
	762 276 6077 3334 506(835) 5:93			There is no blame on those who have attained faith and lead a righteous life to eat any food, so long as they maintain reverence, faith, and lead a righteous life then they continue reverence and faith, then go on with revering and doing good. And God loves the do-gooders.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَخَافُهُ بِالْغَيْبِ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
	763 277 6078 3335 507(836,837) 5:94			O you who have attained faith, God will indeed test you through things such as game within the reach of your hands and your arrows, in order for God to know who fears Him in private. Therefore, whoever transgresses after this, then, awaiting him is a painful suffering.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَقْتُلُوا الصَّيْدَ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَنْ قَتَلَهُ مِنْكُمْ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءٌ مِثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنْتَقِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ
	764 278 6079 3336 508(838,839,840) 5:95			O you who have attained faith, do not kill any game while you are in the state of prohibition. And whoever among you kills it deliberately, then the fine shall be an exact number of livestock as judged by two equitable persons from amongst you, a gift worthy of Kaaba or the atonement shall be feeding poor people or an equivalent fast in order to taste the evil of his deed.  God has pardoned what was in the past. And whoever reverts, then God will avenge it. And God is Almighty, Avenger.
				أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
	765 279 6080 3337 509(841) 5:96			Lawful for you is fish of the sea and eating it, as a provision for you and for the Caravan, and prohibited for you is hunting game of the dry land as long as you are in the period of prohibition. And you shall fear God, the One you will be summoned before.
				جَعَلَ اللَّهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ قِيَامًا لِلنَّاسِ وَالشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَالْهَدْيَ وَالْقَلائِدَ ذَلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَوَتِ وَمَا فِي الأرْضِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
	766 280 6081 3338 510(842,843,844) 176 5:97			God has established Kaaba as the Sacred House, a focal point for the people as well as the sacred month and the offering and the earmarked livestock.  This is for you to realize that indeed God knows whatever is in the vacua and whatever is within matter and that indeed God has full knowledge of all things.
				اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
	767 281 6082 3339 511(845,846) 5:98			You shall know that God is stern in delivering the ultimate punishment and that indeed God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				مَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلا الْبَلاغُ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ
	768 282 6083 3340 512(847) 5:99			Nothing is required of the messenger except to deliver.  And God knows what they declare as well as what they conceal.
				قُلْ لا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الألْبَبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
	769 283 6084 3341 513(848) 5:100			Say, evil and pure are not equal, although you may be impressed with evil's hoard.  Therefore, you shall fear God, O you who possess vision that you may succeed.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِنْ تَسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهَا وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
	770 284 6085 3342 514(849,850) 177 5:101			O you who have attained faith, do not ask about matters that had it been explained to you would have been harmful to you; however, if you ask about them as the Quran is being revealed, it will be clear to you for God has deliberately overlooked them. And God is All Forgiving, Clement.
				قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُوا بِهَا كَفِرِينَ
	771 285 6086 3343 5:102			People before you asked about them then they turned unfaithful because of it.
				مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَحِيرَةٍ وَلا سَائِبَةٍ وَلا وَصِيلَةٍ وَلا حَامٍ وَلَكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لا يَعْقِلُونَ
	772 286 6087 3344 515(851,852) 178 5:103			God did not consecrate any kind of she camel with split ears, or a camel that is let loose for eating free pasture and vows for idols or idol sacrifice for twin birth in animals, or the camel freed from work.  On the contrary, it is the unfaithful who invent lies about God, and most of them do not use their intelligence.
				وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلا يَهْتَدُونَ
	773 287 6088 3345 516(853) 5:104			And when they are told, come to what God has revealed and come to the messenger, they say, we reckon we will go along with what we found with our parents. What if their parents did not know a thing and they were not guided?
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
	774 288 6089 3346 517(854) 5:105			O you who have attained faith, you are responsible for yourselves.  Those who have gone astray cannot harm you as long as you are guided. To God is your final return and He will inform you of everything you have done.
				يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا شَهَدَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الأرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنْ بَعْدِ الصَّلوةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لا نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلا نَكْتُمُ شَهَدَةَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الآثِمِينَ
	775 289 6090 3347 518(855,856) 5:106			O you who have attained faith witnessing a will, when death approaches one of you, shall be done by two equitable persons from among you or two others not of you if you are traveling throughout the land and the affliction of death approaches you.  You shall sequester them after the contact prayer and have them swear by God when in doubt that they will have no monetary gain although they may be a relative and that they would not conceal God's testimony, otherwise they indeed would belong to the sinners.
				فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْمًا فَآخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِنْ شَهَدَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الظَّلِمِينَ
	776 290 6091 3348 519(857) 179 5:107			Thereafter if it is found that indeed the two have committed a sin, replace the two of them with two others who have been victimized by the first two, then let them swear by God that indeed our testimony is more truthful than the other two and that we will not deviate or indeed we will belong to the transgressors.
				ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِالشَّهَدَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُوا أَنْ تُرَدَّ أَيْمَنٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَنِهِمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْمَعُوا وَاللَّهُ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَسِقِينَ
	777 291 6092 3349 520(858,859) 5:108			This is closer to piety for them to give an honest testimony otherwise they should fear that their oath would be rejected just like the other's oaths.  And you shall fear God and hear. And God does not guide the evil people.
				يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُوا لا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلامُ الْغُيُوبِ
	778 292 6093 3350 521(860) 180 5:109			The day when God summons all the messengers then asks: "how did they respond to you?" They will say; we have no knowledge; You are The Knower of the unseen.
				إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلى وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدْتُكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلا وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالإنْجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنْفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِئُ الأكْمَهَ وَالأبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَذَا إِلا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
	777 293 6094 3351 522(861) 5:110			And when God said to Jesus Son of Mary that you shall remember my blessings upon you and upon your mother as I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit in order that you may speak to people from the crib, and as an adult.  I taught you the scripture and wisdom and the Torah and the Injeel.  And you created from clay the shape of a bird by My leave, then, blew into her; subsequently it became a bird by My leave.  And you cured the blind and the lepers by My leave and resurrected the dead by My leave.  And, I protected you from the Children of Israel when you went to them with proofs then those amongst them who had no faith said, this is clear magic.
				وَإِذْ أَوْحَيْتُ إِلَى الْحَوَارِيِّينَ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِي وَبِرَسُولِي قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّنَا مُسْلِمُونَ

	783 297 6098 3355 5:114			Jesus Son of Mary said, O god, our Lord, send us a feast from the sky to become a celebration for each one of us, and a Sign from you.  And provide for us for You are the best provider.
				قَالَ اللَّهُ إِنِّي مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنِّي أُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا لا أُعَذِّبُهُ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَلَمِينَ

				وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنْتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَنَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِنْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلامُ الْغُيُوبِ

He said, be You glorified, I could not say but the truth. Had I said it, You would have known about it. You know what is in me and I do not know what is in You.  Indeed you are Knower of the secrets.

				إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ  الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

				قَالَ اللَّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنْفَعُ الصَّدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
	788 302 6103 3360 527(867,868) 5:119			God said, today is the day when the truthfulness of the truthful ones benefits them.  For them are paradises with flowing streams beneath them, they abide therein forever. God is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him.  This is the tremendous victory.
				لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
	789 303 6104 3361 528(869) 5:120			To God belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter and whatever is in them. And He is All Powerful over all things.
