	4582 1936 5956 3213 48:1			We have indeed granted you a proven victory.
				لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا
	4583 1937 5957 3214 1593(2339) 1169 48:2			For God will forgive all your past sins as well as your future ones and has completed His blessings upon you and will guide you to the straight path.
				وَيَنْصُرَكَ اللَّهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا
	4584 1938 5958 3215 1594(2340) 1170 48:3			And God will grant you triumph a mighty triumph.
				هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَنًا مَعَ إِيمَنِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
	4585 1939 5959 3216 1595(2341,2342) 48:4			He is the One who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the faithful in order to increase their faith. And to God belongs the armies of the vacua and matter. And God is All Knowledgeable, All Wise.
				لِيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَتِ جَنَّتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
	4586 1940 5960 3217 1596(2343) 1171 48:5			For He will admit the faithful men and the faithful women into paradises with flowing streams beneath them, to abide therein forever, and remit their sins. And this, in the site of God, is a great victory.
				وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَفِقِينَ وَالْمُنَفِقَتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَتِ الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا
	4587 1941 5961 3218 1597(2344,2345) 48:6			And He will punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the men who set up partners for god and the women who set up partners for god, for they have harbored evil thoughts about God. Evil will encircle them and God's wrath will be upon them and He has cursed them and has promised them Gehenna, a miserable abode.
				وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
	4588 1942 5962 3219 1598(2346,2347) 1172 48:7			And to God belongs the armies of the vacua and matter. And God is Almighty, All Wise.
				إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَكَ شَهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
	4589 1943 5963 3220 48:8			We have indeed sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news as well as a warner-
				لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلا
	4590 1944 5964 3221 1599(2348) 48:9			-that you may believe in God and His messenger, that you may support and honor Him, and glorify Him day and night.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمَنْ نَكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنْكُثُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
	4591 1945 5965 3222 1600(2349,2350,2351) 48:10			Indeed those who pledged their allegiance to you are really pledging their allegiance to God, God's hand is above their hands. Therefore, whoever violates it, the violation is only detrimental to him. And whoever fulfills his covenant, God will soon give him a great recompense.
				سَيَقُولُ لَكَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ الأعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَا أَمْوَلُنَا وَأَهْلُونَا فَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا يَقُولُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ مَا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلْ فَمَنْ يَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًا بَلْ كَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
	4592 1946 5966 3223 1601(2352,2353) 1173 48:11			The sedentary amongst the Arabs say to you; we are preoccupied with our jobs and our families, therefore, ask forgiveness for us. They utter with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say; who then has any power in the least to protect you from God if He wills any harm for you or wills any benefit for you?  However, God is All Cognizant of what you do.
				بَلْ ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنْ لَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنْتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا
	4593 1947 5967 3224 48:12			But, you thought that the messenger and the faithful would never come back to their families; and this was pleasing to your hearts, and you harbored evil thoughts, and you became wicked people.
				وَمَنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَإِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَفِرِينَ سَعِيرًا
	4594 1948 5968 3225 1602(2354) 1174 48:13			And any one who does not believe in God and His messenger, We have prepared for the unfaithful a raging Inferno.
				وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
	4595 1949 5969 3226 1603(2355,2356) 48:14			To God belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter. He forgives whomever He wills, and He punishes whomever He wills. And God is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
				سَيَقُولُ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا انْطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَى مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُبَدِّلُوا كَلمَ اللَّهِ قُلْ لَنْ تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَلِكُمْ قَالَ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا بَلْ كَانُوا لا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلا قَلِيلا
	4596 1950 5970 3227 1604(2357,2358) 48:15			The sedentary will say; when you come across any unexpected gain, let us follow you. They wish to change God's word. Say, you will not follow us in this manner, for God has said so previously. They will then say; you are jealous of us. On the contrary, they only have very little understanding.
				قُلْ لِلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ الأعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أُولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ فَإِنْ تُطِيعُوا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا وَإِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
	4597 1951 5971 3228 1605(2359) 48:16			Say to the sedentary amongst the Arabs, that you will be asked to face a people who possess a great might, either you fight them or they make peace, therefore, if you obey, God will give you a wonderful recompense, but if you turn away like you turned away in the past, He will make you endure a painful suffering.
				لَيْسَ عَلَى الأعْمَى حَرَجٌ وَلا عَلَى الأعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
	4598 1952 5972 3229 1606(2360) 1175 48:17			There shall be no blame on the blind, nor is there any blame on the disabled, nor is there any blame on the ill. And anyone who obeys God and his messenger, He will admit him into paradises with flowing streams beneath them and anyone who turns away; He will make him suffer, a painful suffering.
				لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَبَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا
	4599 1953 5973 3230 1607(2361) 48:18			Indeed, God is pleased with the faithful who pledged allegiance to you under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, therefore, He sent down upon them tranquility; and He rewarded them with an immediate victory;
				وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً يَأْخُذُونَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
	4600 1954 5974 3231 1608(2362) 1176 48:19			and they also acquired many unexpected gains. And God is Almighty, All Wise.
				وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَذِهِ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ عَنْكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ آيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا
	4601 1955 5975 3232 1609(2363) 48:20			God has promised you many gains that you will acquire; He, therefore, has hastened this for you and He has withheld people’ hands from you, in order to serve as a sign for the faithful, and He guides you to a straight path.
				وَأُخْرَى لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ اللَّهُ بِهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا
	4602 1956 5976 3233 1610(2364,2365) 48:21			And others whom you were unable to defeat, God took care of them and God is All Powerful over all things.
				وَلَوْ قَتَلَكُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوَلَّوُا الأدْبَرَ ثُمَّ لا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلا نَصِيرًا
	4603 1957 5977 3234 48:22			And if the unfaithful fight you, they would turn their backs and flee; then they would find no ally or a helper.
				سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلا
	4604 1958 5978 3235 1611(2366,2367)  1177 48:23			Such is God's system that He has maintained in the past, and you will never find any change in God's system.
				وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا
	4605 1959 5979 3236 1612(2368) 48:24			And He is the One who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within Mecca after He granted you victory over them. And God is All Seer of what you do.
				هُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْهَدْيَ مَعْكُوفًا أَنْ يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهُ وَلَوْلا رِجَالٌ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَنِسَاءٌ مُؤْمِنَتٌ لَمْ تَعْلَمُوهُمْ أَنْ تَطَئُوهُمْ فَتُصِيبَكُمْ مِنْهُمْ مَعَرَّةٌ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ لِيُدْخِلَ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ لَوْ تَزَيَّلُوا لَعَذَّبْنَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
	4606 1960 5980 3237 1613(2369) 48:25			They are the ones who remained unfaithful and barred you from the Sacred Mosque and even prevented your decreed offering to reach its destination. And there were faithful men and faithful women whom you did not know them and you were about to hurt them unknowingly, but God admits into His mercy whomever He wills. If they had been separate, We would have surely afflicted the unfaithful amongst them with a painful suffering.
				إِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَى وَكَانُوا أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
	4607 1961 5981 3238 1614(2370,2371) 48:26			While those who remained unfaithful had pride in their hearts, the pride of ignorance; God sent down His tranquility upon his messenger and upon the faithful, and required for them to uphold the word of righteousness for they were well-deserved thereof and it became a habit for them.  And God is All Knowledgeable of all things.
				لَقَدْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ الرُّؤْيَا بِالْحَقِّ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ آمِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لا تَخَافُونَ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا فَجَعَلَ مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا
	4608 1962 5982 3239 1615(2372,2373) 48:27			Indeed God fulfilled His messenger's vision truthfully, that you shall enter the Sacred Mosque, God willing completely secure with heads shaved or a short haircut and you will have no fear. For He knew what you did not know, and besides that, He granted you an immediate victory.
				هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا
	4609 1963 5983 3240 1616(2374) 48:28			He is the One who has sent His messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, in order to overcome all religions. And God suffices as a witness -
				مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَنًا سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ذَلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَةِ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الإنْجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَهُ فَآزَرَهُ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوَى عَلَى سُوقِهِ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَاتِ مِنْهُمْ مَغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
	4610 1964 5984 3241 1617(2375,2376,2377) 1178 48:29			Muhammad is God's messenger. And those with him are stern against the unfaithful, and compassionate amongst themselves.  You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking God's bounty and His approval. Their marks are on their faces because of repeated prostration. Such is their example in the Torah.  And their example in the Gospel is like a plant that grows taller and stronger, pleasing the farmers and enraging the unfaithful.  God has promised the faithful who lead a righteous life, forgiveness and a  generous recompense.
