3253 1785 1919 1030 799 28:3 |
We recite to you the news
from Moses and Pharaoh truthfully for the people who have faith. |
3254 1786 1920 1031 28:4 |
Indeed Pharaoh exalted
himself on the land and divided its inhabitants, where he oppressed a group
of them killing their sons and brought shame to their females, indeed he was
one of the corruptors. |
3255 1787 1921 1032 800 28:5 |
And We willed to bless those
who were oppressed on the land and to give them the upper hand and make them
inheritors. |
3256 1788 1922 1033 28:6 |
And We established them
throughout the land and We had Pharaoh and Hamaan and their armies face the
very thing they feared the most. |

3257 1789 1923 1034 801 28:7 |
And We inspired Moses' mother
to continue breast feeding him, then when you fear for him, throw him into
the sea and do not fear and do not grieve, We will surely return him to you
and make him one of the messengers. |

3258 1790 1924 1035 28:8 |
Then, Pharaoh's people picked
him up, only to become their enemy and a source of grief. Indeed Pharaoh, Hamaan and their troops
were wrongdoers. |

3259 1791 1925 1036 28:9 |
Pharaoh's wife said; this is
brightening my eyes and yours; do not kill him, he may be useful to us or we
may adopt him as a son, and they had no clue. |

3260 1792 1926 1037 28:10 |
Moses' mother's heart was
aching for him and she almost gave away his identity, if it were not for the
fact that We made contact with her heart in order to make her one of the
faithful. |

3262 1794 1928 1039 28:12 |
And We had forbidden him from
accepting any nursing mother before, so she said; shall I introduce you to a
family who can become his guardian for you and give him a good
upbringing? |

3263 1795 1929 1040 1223(1836), 570(823) 803 28:13 |
We therefore returned him to
his mother to brighten her eyes, and remove her sadness and in order for her
to know that indeed God's
promise is the truth, but most of them do not know. |

3264 1796 1930 1041 28:14 |

And when he reached maturity
and an even keel, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. And We thus reward the
righteous. |

3265 1797 1931 1042 28:15 |
And he entered the city,
unbeknown to its inhabitants and found therein two men fighting, one from his
people and the other one from his enemies. He then tried to help the one from
his people against the one who was his enemy; Moses therefore punched him and
killed him. He said; this is the deed of Satan, indeed he is a misleading,
manifest enemy. |
لِي
3266 1798 1932 1043 28:16 |
He said; my Lord indeed I
transgressed against my soul; therefore, forgive me, He then forgave
him. Indeed He is The All Forgiving,
The All Merciful. |
3267 1799 1933 1044 804 28:17 |
He said; my Lord, because You
forgave me, I will never be a supporter of the guilty. |
فِي
3268 1800 1934 1045 28:18 |
He showed up the next day in
the city fearful and watchful then when the one whom he had helped yesterday,
called upon him. Moses told him; you are really a trouble maker. |

3269 1801 1935 1046 805 28:19 |
Then once he tried to attack
the one who was the enemy of the two of them, he said; O Moses do you wish to
kill me just like you killed a soul yesterday? You want to be a tyrant on the
land, and you do not want to be righteous. |
3270 1802 1936 1047 28:20 |
And a man came from the far
side of the city, running, he said; O Moses, a group is plotting to kill you,
therefore, leave; I am indeed giving you good advice. |
3271 1803 1937 1048 28:21 |
He then fled from there
frightened and watchful, saying my Lord; save me from the transgressing
people. |
3272 1804 1938 1049 28:22 |
And he turned towards Median
saying may my Lord guide me to the even path. |
3273 1805 1939 1050 806 28:23 |
And when he reached the
waters of Median, he found a group of people watering and found two women
being pushed around. He said; what are you doing? They said; we cannot get
any water until the shepherds get their water and our father is an old man. |
3274 1806 1940 1051 28:24 |
He then got water for the two
of them, and then took refuge under the shade and said, my Lord whatever good
you send me, I am indeed in need. |
3275 1807 1941 1052 28:25 |
Then one of the two came to
him shyly, saying my father would certainly like to invite you to repay you
for getting water for us. Then when he came to him and narrated his story to
him, he said; do not fear, for you have been saved from the transgressing
people. |
3276 1808 1942 1053 28:26 |
One of the two women said; O
father, hire him, indeed it would be good to hire him, he is strong and
honest. |
3277 1809 1943 1054 1224(1837), 571(824) 28:27 |
He said, I want you to marry
one of my two daughters, conditioned upon that you work for me for eight
years, however, if you complete it as ten, it would be up to you, I do not
wish to burden you. You will find me God willing righteous. |
3278 1810 1944 1055 1225(1838), 572(825) 28:28 |
He said; this is between I
and you, that either of the two interims I fulfill, shall not be any more
burden on me and God is
the guarantor of
what we say. |
3279 1811 1945 1056 807 28:29 |
And when Moses fulfilled his
interim, and traveled with his family, he saw a fire by the side of the
mountain, he said to his family, stay
put, I have indeed seen a fire, maybe, I will bring you news or a piece of the
fire that you may be warm. |
3280 1812 1946 1057 1226(1839), 573(826) 28:30 |
Then when he reached it, he
was called from the side of the blessed valley, in the blessed spot from the
tree that O Moses, I am indeed God, Lord of the multiverse. |

3281 1813 1947 1058 808 28:31 |
And throw your staff, then
when he saw it moving like a demon, he turned around and fled and did not
look back. O Moses, come back and do not be afraid, you are perfectly
secure. |

Put your hand in your pocket,

for these are two proofs from your Lord to show to Pharaoh and his people.
Indeed they are wicked people. |

3284 1816 1950 1061 28:34 |
And my brother is a more
eloquent speaker than me; therefore, send him with me as an assistant, that
he may confirm me, I indeed fear that they may reject me. |
3285 1817 1951 1062 28:35 |
He said, I will strengthen
your help with your brother and grant the two of you authority, so they will
not be able to touch either of you.
These are Our signs, through which the two of you and those who follow
you both, shall overcome. |
3286 1818 1952 1063 28:36 |
Then when Moses came to them
with Our proven Signs, they said; this is nothing but fabricated magic and we
have never heard anything like this from our forefathers. |
3287 1819 1953 1064 809 28:37 |
And Moses said; my Lord knows
best of those who come from Him with guidance, and who deserves the eternal
abode. Indeed the transgressors never succeed. |
يَا
3288 1820 1954 1065 28:38 |
And Pharaoh said; O my
people, do you know of any other god but me? Therefore, O Haaman, bake the
mud and build me an elevator that I may obtain information about the god of
Moses, for indeed I think he is a liar. |
لا
3289 1821 1955 1066 28:39 |
And
he sought greatness together with his armies on the land without
justification and thought that he will never return to Us. |
فِي
3290 1822 1956 1067 28:40 |
We, therefore, punished him
along with his armies, as We threw them into the sea; therefore, observe the
consequence for those who committed injustice. |
3291 1823 1957 1068 810 28:41 |
And We made them leaders who
invited to Hell, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will not be
helped. |
3292 1824 1958 1069 28:42 |
Damnation chased them in this
world, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will be despised. |
مَا
3293 1825 1959 1070 811 28:43 |
And indeed We gave Moses the
scripture after We annihilated the previous generations as a portent for the
people and guidance and mercy that they may take heed. |
3294 1826 1960 1071 28:44 |
And you were not present on
the west side when We completed upon Moses the law and you were not one of
the witnesses. |
3295 1827 1961 1072 28:45 |
However, We initiate
generations with long life-spans. You were also not a resident amongst the
inhabitants of Median reciting Our signs, but We do send messengers. |
3296 1828 1962 1073 28:46 |
And, you were not present by
the side of the mountain, when We called; however, it is mercy from your Lord
to warn a people who have not received a warner before you, that they may
take heed. |
3297 1829 1963 1074 812 28:47 |
And if an affliction strikes
them due to their own handiwork, they would say, our Lord, had you sent us a
messenger we would have followed your signs and would have become
faithful. |
3298 1830 1964 1075 28:48 |
Then when the truth came to
them from Us, they said if only we had been given the same as what was given
to Moses. Did they not reject what was
given to Moses in the past? They said, obviously a couple of magic tricks and
they said, we indeed reject them all. |
3299 1831 1965 1076 1227(1840), 574(827) 28:49 |
Say; then bring a book from God that has more guidance
than these two so I can follow it, if you are truthful. |
3300 1832 1966 1077 1228(1841,1842), 575(828,829) 28:50 |
And if they cannot respond to
you, then know that they only follow their own opinions. And who is more astray than the one who
follows his own opinion without guidance from God? Indeed God does not guide
the transgressing people. |
3301 1833 1967 1078 28:51 |
And We indeed delivered the
message to them that they may take heed. |
3302 1834 1968 1079 28:52 |
As for those who have been
given the scripture before, they do believe in this. |
3303 1835 1969 1080 813 28:53 |
And when it was recited to
them, they said, we believe in this, indeed this is the truth from our Lord;
we were indeed at peace even before this. |
3304 1836 1970 1081 28:54 |
These are the ones who
receive twice the reward because of their steadfastness and they respond with
goodness in the face of evil and from what We provide for them, they
give. |
3305 1837 1971 1082 28:55 |
And when they hear nonsense
they walk away and they say, we are responsible for our deeds and you are
responsible for your deeds, peace upon you, we do not seek the ignorant
ones. |
3306 1838 1972 1083 1229(1843), 576(830) 28:56 |
Surely you cannot guide your
loved ones; only God
guides whomever He wills. He knows best
who the guided ones are. |
3307 1839 1973 1084 28:57 |
And they said; if we follow
the guidance with you, we will be banished from our land. Did we not
establish for them a sacred secure sanctuary wherein all kinds of fruits are
provided as a provision from Our special place? But most of them do not know. |
3308 1840 1974 1085 28:58 |
And many a community We
annihilated who were unappreciative of their livelihood, consequently here
are their homes, only a few left to occupy their dwellings, and indeed We are
the inheritors. |
فِي
3309 1841 1975 1086 814 28:59 |
And your Lord never
annihilates a community unless He raises a messenger from them who recites
Our signs to them. We never annihilate
a community unless its inhabitants commit injustice. |
3310 1842 1976 1087 1230(1844), 577(831) 28:60 |
And what is given to them is
the provision of this world and its vanities.
And what is reserved at God is far better and everlasting. Do you not use your
intelligence? |
3311 1843 1977 1088 815 28:61 |
Therefore, is the one who has
given a good promise that he will join Him the same as the one whom We
provide for him provisions of this world then he is summoned on the Day of
Resurrection? |
3312 1844 1978 1089 28:62 |
And the day they are called,
then, He will say where are My partners that you used to conjecture? |
3313 1845 1979 1090 28:63 |
Those who have been
rightfully stamped say, our Lord, these are the ones whom we misled; we
misled them because we were misled.
Now we disown them for Your sake; they were really not worshipping us. |
3314 1846 1980 1091 28:64 |
And they are told, call upon
your partners, they will then call them but they will not respond to them and
they will come face to face with the torment. Indeed if only they were
guided! |
3315 1847 1981 1092 28:65 |
And the day they are called,
He will say; how was your response to the messengers? |
3316 1848 1982 1093 28:66 |
And they will be stunned by
the news on that day, and they will not ask a single question. |
3317 1849 1983 1094 816 28:67 |
However, whoever repents and
leads a righteous life, then, he may join the successful ones. |
3318 1850 1984 1095 1231(1845), 578(832) 28:68 |
And your Lord creates what He
wills and chooses; while they have no choice. Glory to God far above what they set up as partners for Him. |
3319 1851 1985 1096 28:69 |
And your Lord knows what the
chests hide and what they declare. |
3320 1852 1986 1097 1232(1846), 579(833) 28:70 |
And He is God, there is no god except
He, to Him belong all praise in this world as well as in the Hereafter, and
to Him belongs the reign and to Him you will return. |

Say; do you realize that if God made the night continuous
for you until the Day of Resurrection, which god except God would bring you light? Do
you not hear? |

And out of His mercy, He made
the night and the day for you to rest therein and to seek His bounty, that
you may be grateful. |

And the day they are called,
then, He will say where are My partners that you used to conjecture? |

And We will bring forth a

they realize that indeed the truth belongs to God and their own fabrications caused them to go astray. |

Indeed Qaroon was from the
people of Moses, but he betrayed them, and We gave him treasures that even
their keys could not be lifted by a group of strong men, as his people told
him not to be euphoric, for God does not love those who are euphoric. |

And seek out through what God has bestowed upon you,
the abode of the Hereafter, while not forgetting your share of this world,
and do good as God
has been good to you, and do not seek
corruption on the land, indeed God does not love
those who spread corruption. |

He said; indeed I have
attained this because of my own cleverness. Did he not know that indeed God has annihilated before
him generations who were more powerful than him and greater in number? And
the guilty will not be asked about their sins. |

He then came out to his
people in all his splendor, those who were seeking this worldly life said; O
we wished we were given what is given to Qaroon, he indeed possesses good
fortune. |

And those who wished to be in
his place yesterday were saying that indeed it is God who increases the provision for whomever He wills from
amongst His servants and withholds it. If it were not for God's blessing we would have
been buried alive. We now know that the unfaithful never succeed. |

This is the abode of the
Hereafter that We have created for those who do not seek exaltation on the
land and do not seek to corrupt it. Such is the destiny of the
god-fearing. |

Whoever is righteous, then he

done. |

And do not let them divert
you from God's signs
after they were revealed to you, and invite to your Lord, and do not be one
